Dreamy Donuts Fundraising - How Does it Work?
We have come up with what we consider is the most simple and exciting fundraising system ever. And not only is it easy but it also potebtially highly profitable with $5 of every dozen sold going directly to your cause.
Here's how it works:
Step 1. Firstly you can call your local Dreamy Donuts store and speak to the manager who will help you plan your fundraiser. This person will then act as your fundrasising representative - they will provide you with all the required materials to run a successful fundraiser. at the store. You can then allocate order forms and collection sheets to your fundraising team members.
Step 2. Once you and your team memebrs have sold as many 12 packs as possible, completed order forms are given to the Fundraising Organiser who will then forward these it to the Dreamy Donuts Representative at the store. Dreamy Donuts will freshly bake your donut order ready for you to pick up and distribute to your eagerly awaiting customers.

Tips for Success
Below are five simple steps to a successful Dreamy Donuts Drive
Step 1: The Application Process
Once you have decided to participate in a Dreamy Donuts fundraiser, organisation is key. First you will need to determine the commencement date of your drive, who will partake and how long it will last. We recommend that you collect your Dreamy Donuts orders for a period of two to three weeks.
After you decide on the basics it is always good to have a goal in mind for your fundraiser. You could either set a monetary amount needed for a particular cause or you may want to just raise as much as possible for your organisation. Setting this goal will help your team members stay motivated and give you a benchmark for collections.
Step 2: Organising
When your goal and dates are confirmed you should allocate roles and promote your drive. To promote your fundraising activity you could distribute pamphlets or letters, put up posters or place a notice in your newsletter or local community paper. In order to ensure your drive runs efficiently, a key person should be appointed as the 'Fundraising Organiser'. This person will be responsible for all interaction between the fundraising team and the Dreamy Donuts store. The Fundraising Organiser will also distribute the order forms, place the order and distribute the donuts to the team members.
Before you commence your fundraiser you should photocopy as many order forms and collection sheets as you think will be needed and distribute these to the collectors.
Step 3: Sell Sell Sell
It is widely considered that the best way to sell anything is to be enthusiastic and to be knowledgeable about what it is you're selling. Fundraising can be a lot of fun and reaching your fundraising goals are great. But you must be prepared to tell people about what it is you are fundraising for and what you are hoping to achieve. When collecting orders it is important that you record the customers name, address, phone number and quantity purchased on the order form for records purposes.
Dreamy Donut's donuts can be sold to absolutely anyone - your family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues. If you do chose to sell to strangers or go knocking door-to-door please do so in a safe environment. Do not let children fundraise alone; they should be accompanied by an adult at all times. When each fundraising team member has finished collecting their monies, they should return their order forms to the Fundraiser Organiser.
Step 4: Consolidate and Distribute
Once your collecting period is over, the Fundraising Organiser should collect all the order forms from the team members and place the order with the manager at the Dreamy Donuts store. The Fundraising Organiser and manager will agree on a time for pick up on the pre-determined distribution day. On the distribution day the team member will pick up the donut boxes and distribute them to the team members who will then give them out to their customers.
Step 5: Celebrate Your Successful Fundraiser.
Now that all the hard work is over, remember to give credit to those who contributed their time and effort. It is also a good idea to thank the customers that supported your drive. This could be done through a public forum such as the local newspaper.
